umhmm...Eid Mubarak. Missed my first ever lecture today too [good start heh..]...had to go to Eid namaz plus I'd rather not go at all than walk in a lecture theatre [of 170 students] late.
Eid is good though....good times. Not that we do anything extraordinary but its still family time, even if you have to let Aribah sleep in your lap on the couch when you're kinda squished yourself............ Back to eid..umm..used to be better but Im not complaining. Especially after stuff recently. We ended up watching some home production videos o.o ..yes, including mama's wedding one. Everyone looked so happy and now 20 years on, its like they're totally different people. So many people are not even alive anymore........ -sigh- ....it was definitely nostalgic for mama though. It is everytime. She ends up crying when its the rukhsati part =p .... I dont know the exact reason but I'm hoping they aren't tears of regret. lol.
Anyways....I know Islamic year starts with Muharram but right now Eid equates to a beginning too. Just pray this year is a little easier on everyone and brings all the luck and happiness for those I love.
