I never know what to say when people ask me about Uni.. I guess the answer is always "fine" because most of the times, I am kinda unsure myself. Seriously I have no idea how I managed to complete my BSc - the three years just seem..hazy. Yeah the exam period was mad and when I was writing my dissertation earlier this year - that was beyond stressful.. but I don't remember any of it in much detail. The whole time has been about meeting deadlines, hating on labs and doodling in lectures. I have also noticed I tend to remember a lecture and its content more if the lecturer shares some sort of an anecdote or a random fact o.0 ..like.. you know why the Spanish flu was called the Spanish flu? ...Most people would guess because the epidemic started in Spain but actually its because when the pandemic spread during World War 1, Spain was the only country not taking part and sooo all the journalists from around the world reporting were based in Spain. So yea..that's how it got its name..
Anywayssss... MSc is pretty ordinary.. but we haven't started labs yet so you know.. that can change a lot of things. I have a few lame assignments to hand in, all in the first week of December so I am going to try and get the Molecular Bio and Research Methods done by the end of the month so I can just do the Ethics and concentrate on the labs then. Likelihood of that happeneing? :P ..um yea. I am excited about my dissertation this year though. One because it's kind of bad ass with injecting caterpillars and freezing them and what not and two because it's never been done before so if I really nail it, I may even get a publication =o ..how cool would that be please?! It'd soo make me feel like a scientist. It's also going to be 20,000 words long -nod- ..May peace be upon me.
-sighs- ......hmmm....d'ya know what I really fancy? ..one tight hug from my man..lol and then I wanna' fall asleep there.. in his arms.. :P ..school talk makes me tired.
