Rabi-ul-Awal..

I don't consider myself the most religious person...not even close, but Rabi-ul-Awal and all the milads around the time make me confident of being..spiritually there...if that makes any sense... It fills my heart with immense pride knowing that Im fortunate enough to be a part of Prophet Muhammad (saw)'s Ummah. There's a story that my dad told me some time ago..... When Hazrat Adam (as) was thrown out of Jannat for disobeying Allah miyan, He (as) asked for forgiveness for thousands of years..so much so that he had permanent tear marks on his cheeks..until one day He (as) remembered that when He (as) was created, there was the Shahada (There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger) written on the seventh sky. Adam (as) asked Allah miyan that if I am the first person to be ever created then who is Muhammad?..Allah miyan replied that if it wasn't for Muhammad (saw), He wouldn't have created the universe. SubhanAllah! Adam (as) then asked for forgiveness for the sake of Muhammad (saw) and was forgiven and sent to Earth.

..I have kind of forgotten what I was going to say before the story ..or what the point was..o.o...So......I hear the tradition is you make halwa?.. Never made it before, don't like it.... I wonder if I can substitute that with sewiyaan... and if sewiyaan can be substituted for noodles since I dont have any sewiyaan o.o... Also burnt fingers, tikk ke tau mai baith ni sakti...........

Finally, this gives me goosebumps.
